In deference to the author, I altered the caption to better reflect my opinion of the important message here. In this article in the Los Angeles Daily News, the author, a lawyer, discusses a plan to identify and make available your documents rather than how to formulate a will or an estate plan. I would add, having experienced this, that being lost regarding the location of important documents when required for a deceased (or incapacitated) loved one is terrifying and frustrating in some combination at the very worst possible time.
