This is a longer post for the weekend with a few articles attached on the same theme. As I approach retirement myself, I see that mental outlook and state-of-mind likely have a much more significant impact on retirement success than income or any other factor. I am also well aware that with all the great things that a life-well-lived brings, there is always emotional baggage, regrets and what-ifs. While I am a proponent of seeking professional help when needed, particularly in terms of mental wellness, there are times when personal perspective can help.
