Sadly, sometimes ageism is first felt with a combination of shock and denial. However, sometimes, those of us that do not see ourselves yet in the bloom of middle-age need to find strategies to deal with bias not just at work but elsewhere in life as well. Here in the Harvard Business Review, the author adopts the guise of a "Modern Elder".
