I don't know if Pickleball can save America, or even Canada. however, I know that along with a fast-growing legion or die-hards, it has a strong, and equally die-hard anti-Pickelball faction. My own neighbor cannot hear the "pickleball" without launching into a wide-ranging criticism of the game including the noise of the ball, the gimmicky-ness of the game, the disruption on more skilled and historic sports such as tennis, etc, etc, etc. And this is a neighbor who seemed open to differing viewpoints on Trump vs Biden, global warming and the Houston Astros...
